Ramandeep Singh Virdi

Mr. Ramandeep Singh Virdi heads the Group IT function at InterGlobe group of companies. With business interests in aviation, hotels, technology and reservation systems, InterGlobe has built industry leading businesses in the travel space and today represents global brands like IndiGo, IBIS and Travelport that deliver quality and value.

Ramandeep is an IT industry veteran with almost two decades of experience in the areas of IT strategy, security, infrastructure and complex IT solutions. At InterGlobe, he acts as a catalyst for innovation and change, as an evangelist to drive synergy across varied IT landscapes and as a guardian to secure business information and assets.

A keen architect and a hands-on technical leader with a strong record of successes in delivering complex IT initiatives where he routinely gets involved in solution design and architecture also. He is an avid follower of technology best practices and speaks at major IT and aviation conferences around the world. As a business change leader, he has brought focus on service level agreements (SLAs) and customer delight in the 6 years he has been with IndiGo and InterGlobe. He has also transformed vendor management by focusing on realizable benefits and pain-gain share contracts.

Before InterGlobe Enterprises, he was with IndiGo for nearly 5 years in a leadership role. He has performed various leadership roles as Director IT at Perfexa Solutions, before moving to head RampGreen Technologies, a subsidiary of vCustomer Services India. Here, he was accountable for developing and launching software products within the Indian Customer Relationship Management (CRM) space, apart from heading the business entity.

Mr. Virdi holds an M.Tech (Computers and Networks) and an MBA (University of Surrey, UK).
