President and CIO – Bajaj Electricals Limited

Pratap Gharge is President and CIO of Bajaj Electricals Limited, with 33 years of rich experience in the information technology field at various positions. Bajaj Electricals Limited consists of diverse six business units namely Home Appliances, Fans, Lighting, Luminaries, Engineering and Projects, and Morphy Richards. The IT function is common to all and supports all these six business units.

Apart from looking after the IT function, Pratap is also the Joint Project Manager for the organisation’s transformation project called Project Leap Ahead, which is focused on business process improvements across supply chain legs. Pratap has completed his graduation in Science and has an MBA in Operations Research.
